Welcome to the 2008 Inaugural Asia Pan Pacific Rim International Counselling Conference webpage. Our theme “ Coming Together of Neighbours ” has successfully struck a chord, and many people from diverse educational, social and economic backgrounds have shown avid interest in this conference. We are committed to using this platform to create, propagate and enhance relationships and cooperation in the counselling profession within the Asia Pan Pacific Rim countries.

As you scroll through the pages, you will be delighted to see that this Conference is international and covers a broad range of areas in counselling and psychotherapy. Staying true to the tradition in counselling conferences, we have selected both research-based papers as well as skill-based workshops to create the best possible learning experience for you.

Hong Kong is honoured to host this Conference, and the Organizing Committee together with the Hong Kong Tourism Board are determined to make this a most enjoyable learning and travelling experience for you.
